You’ll fit three of you in this diesel-fueled Toyota Hiace. The 3 litre engine will let you coast through New Zealand whilst catching some beauty sleep on the way in the decent double bed.

No lies, this vehicle was the Lucky Cruiza (ex-JUCY Cruiza) but we got bored over winter so gave the beast a new fancy name, like it?

Most of you will know that diesel prices aren’t that much cheaper than petrol in the UK/Europe and sometimes diesel can even be more expensive than petrol. We wouldn’t hold it against you if you thought the same in New Zealand; you would be dead wrong though! Diesel is actually circa 25% cheaper than petrol in New Zealand. Guess what the Lucky Roadie runs on? DIESEL. DIESEL. DIESEL.
